Greg Brooks Jr. fulfills NFL dream With Atlanta Faclons
Stories like Greg Brooks Jr.’s remind us what true strength, faith, and perseverance look like. A Louisiana native and former LSU safety, Greg’s life changed forever when he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor — a battle that ultimately ended his dream of playing football again. Yet even in the face of unimaginable challenges, Greg has shown unshakable courage, inspiring people across the country with his determination to walk again, stay positive, and keep faith through it all.
After Ryan Clark helped share Greg’s story with the world, Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Raheem Morris and his wife, Nikki, knew they wanted to do something meaningful for him. They invited Greg and his loved ones to Atlanta for an unforgettable weekend — one that included a visit to the Falcons’ training facility, the team’s walk-through, and a special game-day experience at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Morris family and the Falcons organization welcomed Greg with open arms, surrounding him with encouragement, laughter, and love.
What began as a simple gesture of support quickly became something far deeper. Spending time with Greg, hearing his outlook on life, and witnessing his faith in action left a lasting impression on everyone involved. His resilience serves as a living example of what it means to keep believing, keep pushing, and keep fighting — no matter the odds.
Now, through the Organized Angels Foundation, the Morrises and the Falcons community are rallying once again to stand beside Greg and his family. Funds raised will go toward providing Greg with a full-time caregiver, an essential step in improving his daily quality of life and supporting his continued recovery.
Every donation, every share, and every prayer makes a difference. Greg’s journey is a reminder that hope is powerful — and that when we come together in faith and love, we can help lift others toward healing and strength.
